Brownfield cleanup programs typically offer tax incentives and liability protection while promoting the redevelopment of urban brownfields.

AKRF works with property owners and developers to enter their projects into the Brownfield Cleanup Programs of New York City and New York State and prepare and implement site remediation plans.

In 2023, we helped our clients obtain a Certificate of Completion from NYSDEC under the Brownfield Cleanup Program for eight projects – topping six such projects in 2022.
