Brownfield cleanup programs typically offer tax incentives and liability protection while promoting the redevelopment of urban brownfields.
AKRF works with property owners and developers to enter their projects into the Brownfield Cleanup Programs of New York City and New York State and prepare and implement site remediation plans.
AKRF has helped our clients obtain a Certificate of Completion from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation under the Brownfield Cleanup Program for 18 projects in the last three years since 2022.
