AKRF specializes in the preparation of thorough permitting, compliance, and regulatory analysis and documentation at all levels of government.

Our experience spans natural resources, cultural resources, air quality, noise, and other environmental disciplines, including multimedia permitting for the full complement of air, water, and land resources. This includes Section 316(b) compliance with the Clean Water Act, which requires that cooling water intake structures of power plants and other waterside facilities minimize adverse environmental impacts.

Additionally, our regulatory efforts for real estate and land development projects often calls for permitting applications to city and municipal entities focused on transportation, utilities, infrastructure, emergency services, and building safety.

Other specialties include preparing the Joint Permit Application for New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers approvals and preparing remedial action plans and installation reports for properties with E-Designations for noise, air quality, and hazardous materials in New York City.
