A new affordable and supportive housing development opened on Manhattan's Upper West Side in 2022.

The new 11-story building on West 108th Street has 119 units of permanent supportive housing and 80 affordable family units with 110 transitional beds as part of the incorporated transitional shelter. The supportive housing units are reserved for homeless adults who have been diagnosed with a mental illness, are frail and elderly, or are from the general population.

AKRF provided site assessment/remediation and acoustical consulting services for the project—which includes resident amenities and outdoor space—and our PHA Division prepared the CEQR Environmental Impact Statement.

The project was developed by the West Side Federation for Senior and Supportive Housing and designed by Dattner Architects.
