Tallman Island Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility
Plans are underway to rehabilitate portions of the deteriorating bulkhead at the Tallman Island Wastewater Resource Recovery Facility in Queens.
As part of the Jacobs team, AKRF prepared the CEQR Environmental Assessment Statement, the Public Design Commission submission, and the Joint Application for permits from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
We also prepared the Regulatory Compliance Plan for Design, identified the permits that needed to be tracked in the Permit Identification Checklist, managed the permits in e-Builder, and prepared the Small Business Services application. Additionally, AKRF prepared the Coastal Zone consistency evaluation, prepared the Essential Fish Habitat Assessment, and drafted the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan.
