Skipjack Wind Offshore Wind Farm
The planning and permitting of Ørsted's Skipjack Wind 1 project continues to advance off the Maryland/Delaware coast.
AKRF is supporting air quality modeling and permitting for the Outer Continental Shelf air permit as part of a Stantec-led consultant team supporting this 120 MW offshore wind project.
We have performed underwater acoustic modeling to evaluate the potential impacts of underwater noise to fish, sea turtles, and marine mammals associated with construction of turbine foundations and vessel noise during cable installation.
AKRF is also supporting the planning, design, permitting, and construction of an operation and maintenance facility for Skipjack Wind under a separate contract.
