The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey released a comprehensive 30-year roadmap for its port in 2019.

The 2050 Port Master Plan charts the course for future growth and development at the Port of New York and New Jersey. Supported by an informed and robust decision-making process, the plan aims to increase operational efficiency, optimize land utilization, reduce environmental impacts, and enhance revenue opportunities through sustainable growth for the port.

As part of the Hatch consultant team, AKRF provided land use planning and environmental analysis services, including an evaluation of and presentation on potential sea level rise at port facilities. The master planning team reviewed more than 3,000 acres of port property.
