AKRF has worked on numerous PACT projects for the New York City Housing Authority and its private partners since the program’s inception.

We provide environmental planning and related services for joint applications between NYCHA and private developers or development consortiums for conversion of assistance under the HUD Rental Assistance Demonstration and Section 18 disposition programs and associated rehabilitation activities.

As of August 2024, our contributions on Permanent Affordability Commitment Together contracts encompasses over $4.7 billion in funded improvements benefitting 34,000 residents in 17,000 apartments across 360 buildings.

Among other projects our work has included Linden Houses and Penn-Wortman in Brooklyn; West Brighton I and II in Staten Island; Harlem River I & II, Frederick Samuel Apartments, and Wilson Houses in Manhattan; and bundled projects in Brooklyn and the Bronx.
