Lebanon Town Center is being developed with four multifamily buildings encompassing 280 apartments, including 56 affordable housing units.

These properties are environmentally constrained due to a category one watercourse that generally runs along the common boundary and exceptional value wetlands that are adjacent. Further constraints exist on the properties due to the Highlands Act, which protects ground and surface water by restricting development in critical areas.

AKRF’s sustainable design strategy includes the removal of existing retaining walls within the Riparian Zone of the watercourse; removal of invasive species and planting of native species vegetation; design of stormwater management systems; and extensive planting of native species vegetation throughout areas of the Riparian Zone that are currently actively disturbed for agriculture.
