Hoboken Heights will feature four buildings with 55 luxury residences, including nine penthouses with private elevators and expansive terraces.

Through creative contaminated fill management, AKRF helped the property developer obtain an unrestricted use for the site and achieve full property value. The historic fill material present on this site contained contaminants and the fill composition was not homogenous; therefore, portions of the site were impacted with different compounds, requiring different remedies throughout the site.

Our solution utilized soil blending of the historic pesticides within portions of the historic fill; compliance averaging to eliminate remediation of metals, PCBs, and PAHs in portions of the site; and limited hot spot removal for the more contaminated fill materials.
