Coca-Cola Times Square Sign

Unveiled in Times Square in 2018, the robotic sign was installed on an exterior wall adjoining guest rooms of the Renaissance New York Times Square Hotel. The sign was honored with two Guinness World Records and an SXSW Interactive Innovation Gold Award.

Because operation of the sign created the potential for disruptive noise and vibration to hotel guests, over the course of four years AKRF performed noise and vibration testing; recommended effective vibration isolation, including redesign of the attachment system; and conducted construction progress inspections.
