AKRF prepared the CEQR Environmental Impact Statement for the overall project (then named the East River Science Park) and prepared the subsequent Environmental Assessment Statement for a zoning override to allow construction of the North Tower to proceed.

Key environmental analyses included land use, zoning and public policy; neighborhood character; open space; and community facilities.

The campus includes a restaurant and cafe, winter garden, and conference center in addition to laboratories and office space.
