Green and Renewables
Our green and renewable energy portfolio includes wind, solar, fuel cell, biogas, and hydrogen projects.
AKRF provides environmental and regulatory support for the planning, permitting, construction, and operation of power generation facilities, as well as energy storage, transmission and distribution infrastructure, and associated support facilities.
We have contributed to over 100 clean and renewable energy-related assignments underway or completed in the last decade in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Maine, and California.
Recent Milestones
The U.S. offshore wind market has continued its march forward in 2024. Among our many projects in this exciting space, South Fork Wind commenced operation, Sunrise Wind started construction, and the NEPA Environmental Impact Assessments were approved for Empire Wind and Atlantic Shores South.
Construction continues on the New Jersey Wind Port, for which AKRF has supported permitting and regulatory compliance efforts and provided environmental services.
