AKRF delivers comprehensive services that guide the alignment for on- and off-road multimodal trails by integrating social, economic, and sustainability principles within environmental and engineering constraints.
We have the broad range of experience to help plan and design a unique and outstanding trail and greenway system for any community and have contributed to new facilities in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
Recent Milestones
We have proudly celebrated the recent approval of Hudson Highlands Fjord Trail’s first phase and the opening of East Midtown Greenway in New York; the opening of the Eyre Park Greenway in Chester, PA; and multiple new trails and greenways in New Jersey parks.
The City of New Rochelle received RAISE federal funding for The Linc, which will convert a portion of Memorial Highway to open space and trails.
