AKRF has worked at airports large and small to improve airside operations and landside passenger access.

Our team specializes in the preparation of Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements, and related documentation pursuant to National Environmental Policy Act procedures and Federal Aviation Administration guidelines, among compliance with other local, state, and federal regulations.

We are familiar with Passenger Facility Charge applications and funding mechanisms for airport facility improvements. Current engagements include projects for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority, and multiple municipal airports.

Recent Milestones

We recently celebrated the topping out of construction for New Terminal One and the opening of a newly expanded Terminal 8 at JFK International Airport, and the Memphis-Shelby County Airport Authority’s approval of the terminal replacement project at Charles W. Baker Airport in Tennessee.

The $9.5 billion New Terminal One will be the largest terminal at JFK International Airport.
