AKRF provides comprehensive site planning, design, and permitting services for land development, energy, transportation, and water clients.

We have over 60 civil engineers based in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, and work with public and private clients in urban, suburban, and rural environments. Our site development services include the full range of civil engineering design, permitting, and construction support services, including construction administration, inspection, and crack, vibration, and optical settlement monitoring.

AKRF specializes in permitting, compliance, and regulatory analysis and documentation at all levels of government. Knowing the ins and outs of regulatory agencies and their rules and procedures enables us to identify, expedite, and obtain permits and advance projects to completion and occupancy.

We also provide infrastructure planning and design for roadways, greenways, parking, streetscape, and utility relocation projects. Our assignments include modifications to geometry, traffic signals, utility relocation, street lighting, curbs and sidewalks, street trees, and drainage improvements.

We routinely study, design, and help construct rain gardens, bioswales, porous pavement, and other best management practices.
