Salisbury Zoning Revisions
The Town of Salisbury retained AKRF to prepare zoning text amendments for the creation of multi-family zoning district overlays.
In addition to the new overlay districts, the Town Zoning Code now also allows flexibility in converting existing structures to allow multi-family residences. AKRF prepared the text and map revisions, met with the members of the Planning and Zoning Commission and stakeholder groups, and conducted public engagement meetings. The Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously in favor of the zoning code amendments, which were adopted in September 2019.
