Sunset Pier 94 Studios
Construction began in 2023 for Sunset Pier 94 Studios, a film and television production studio along Manhattan’s Hudson River waterfront.
AKRF is leading CEQR environmental planning and acoustical consulting for the development’s public-private partnership. The project will include several public amenities, including new public restrooms for Hudson River Park, a community amenity space, open space and pier access, and bikeway safety improvements.
Plans for the 266,000-square-foot campus include six soundstages with production control room facilities and 145,000 square feet of production support space and offices. The project is being designed by Gensler with Adamson/AAI and developed by Vornado Realty Trust, Hudson Pacific Properties, and Blackstone Group in coordination with the New York City Economic Development Corporation.
