Springettsbury Turnkey Stream Restoration 

Springettsbury Township in York County, PA, retained AKRF to lead a stream bank restoration and stabilization program to reduce sediment deposits by 697,000 pounds. This contract covers the full spectrum of implementation services—design, permitting, construction, monitoring, and maintenance—for over 6,000 linear feet of stream situated on Township-owned land.

As part of the design and permitting, AKRF developed an earthworks plan and erosion and sediment control plan that allowed for the on-site retention of all excavated material through the creation of permanent disposal fill areas integrated throughout the 32-acre project area.
