Construction continues to advance on New Terminal One, a privately funded 23-gate terminal at JFK International Airport.

AKRF is Environmental Advisor for the New Terminal One at the south end of the airport’s Central Terminal Area. The terminal will include more than 300,000 square feet of dining, retail, lounges, and recreational space.

We are reviewing and tracking environmental permits and submittals by the design-build contractor to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey and other regulatory agencies and entities. The first structural elements of the headhouse were installed above the newly covered AirTrain tracks in 2023.
