Sustainability - Planning & Design
Integrated Approach
AKRF’s multi-disciplinary staff offers sustainability analysis and design services, with a focus on four major areas: climate change, sustainable site design, water resources, and comprehensive planning and community design.
We are members of the U.S. Green Building Council, and our team includes Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals, Professional Engineers, scientists, planners, and landscape architects and designers who have developed sustainable design and policy in their years of environmental work.
AKRF has provided sustainability services in support of the New York State Climate Action Plan and the GHG Inventory and Forecast for the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority, in addition to the below featured projects. These projects highlight just a portion of our experience.
